is currently seeking a qualified and experienced

Electrical Engineer

who will handle the design, review, and coordination of electrical systems for substations, pumping stations, and industrial utility facilities. Focuses on high-voltage / medium-voltage systems, SCADA / instrumentation integration, and auxiliary low-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop SLDs, load schedules, protection schemes, cable sizing, and layouts. Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies (ETAP/CYME). Design earthing and lightning protection systems. Review SCADA, RTU/PLC-based control, and integration with pumps, meters, and sensors. Validate IO lists, wiring diagrams, and interface requirements. Design LV/auxiliary systems (lighting, small power, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, PA/BMS). Review vendor submittals for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, panels. Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, BS, TRANSCO, DEWA, ADDC, SEC. Provide site technical support for testing and commissioning. Maintain deliverable schedules and prepare compliance review reports

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred). 10-15 years of EPC electrical design/coordination experience in GCC (substations, pumping stations, district cooling, RO). In-depth knowledge of power systems design (MV/LV), protection studies, SCADA integration, and auxiliary LV systems. Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, BS, TRANSCO, DEWA, ADDC, SEC standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, CYME, SCADA tools. Demonstrated experience in preparing SLDs, load schedules, protection coordination, and system studies. Strong client-facing skills for technical discussions, approvals, and commissioning support.
