Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and modify electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies.
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site or in production environments.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations (NEC, IEC, BS standards, etc.).
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and project managers.
Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
Estimate project costs, prepare BOQs, and support procurement activities.
Implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and participate in risk assessments.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Professional certification or license (e.g., FE, PE, UAE Society of Engineers membership) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, lighting, ELV systems, and renewable energy.
Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software (AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, Revit).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
