Electrical Engineer / Lighting Designer

Responsibilities:

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for lighting and electrical projects. Select appropriate lighting fixtures and electrical components based on project specifications and requirements. Formulate detailed quotations for lighting installations and electrical systems. Prepare and submit technical documentation for project approvals, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards. Create rendered images and visualizations using architectural software and Photoshop to communicate design concepts. Design lighting layouts and collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Conduct 3D design and simulation for Lux calculations using Dialux and Relux, ensuring optimal lighting performance. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for creating and modifying lighting and electrical design drawings, including schematics and layouts. Analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems and components to ensure efficiency and safety.

Skills:

Proficiency in lighting design and electrical engineering principles, including circuit design and load calculations. Experience with Dialux and Relux for accurate lighting simulations and performance analysis. Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling electrical and lighting designs. Ability to prepare BOQs, detailed quotations, and project submittals, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Excellent design and visualization skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations for clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices in lighting and electrical system design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to electrical engineering and lighting design.
