Job Overview:

COENGR is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Electrical Engineer

with proven experience in

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

and a solid track record of contributing to

Aldar development projects

. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing and reviewing electrical systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, ensuring all work aligns with local codes, authority standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and review

low and medium voltage electrical systems

, lighting layouts, power distribution, ELV, fire alarm, and other related systems. Lead and coordinate

BIM modeling (Revit MEP)

for electrical systems across all project stages. Prepare and verify technical drawings, load calculations, single-line diagrams, and shop drawings. Ensure electrical designs comply with

Aldar standards, ADDC regulations

, and relevant authority requirements. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and BIM modelers. Attend project meetings, handle RFIs, and support on-site teams with technical guidance during implementation. Review contractor submittals, material approvals, and as-built drawings. Support project delivery from concept to construction supervision and handover phases.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

5 to 8 years

of relevant UAE experience, particularly in

Aldar projects

.

Strong BIM expertise

(Revit MEP is a must); knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage. Familiarity with local authority regulations (e.g., ADDC, ADM, Estidama). Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
