Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, review, and develop electrical systems and layouts based on project requirements and applicable standards. Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations, and BOQs. Supervise on-site electrical works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with design documents. Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and civil teams to integrate electrical systems into the overall project. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material selection, technical approvals, and timely delivery. Conduct site inspections and testing of installed electrical systems (e.g., cable routing, panels, lighting, grounding). Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems and ensure proper documentation and handover. Address technical queries, resolve issues during construction, and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Support procurement by evaluating vendors and reviewing technical submittals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. 3-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the Building & MEP. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and electrical calculation software. Familiarity with construction methods, safety procedures, and project documentation. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and technical documents.
