Job Description

Electrical Engineer with experience in high-rise building construction.

Job Purpose:

To plan, supervise, and coordinate all electrical engineering activities related to the high-rise building project, ensuring compliance with design specifications, standards, safety, and quality requirements throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret electrical design drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.

Coordinate and supervise the installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, BMS, ELV, and earthing systems.

Ensure that all electrical works are executed as per approved drawings and in compliance with local codes (e.g., ADDC, DEWA) and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).

Liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, and suppliers for technical coordination and approvals.

Conduct site inspections to monitor quality and progress of electrical installations.

Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and as-built drawings.

Participate in testing & commissioning of electrical systems and ensure proper documentation.

Monitor project schedules and update progress reports related to electrical works.

Identify technical issues and coordinate with the design team for resolutions.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements on-site.

Attend coordination meetings and prepare technical documentation for handover.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 8-15 years of experience in electrical works for high-rise building construction.

Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (e.g., TAQA, Civil Defense).

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and electrical design tools.

Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Valid UAE Society of Engineers registration (if applicable).

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
