Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced

Electrical Engineer

to support internal road projects in Abu Dhabi. The role includes the design review, supervision, and implementation of electrical systems such as street lighting, traffic signal installations, and utility connections.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and review electrical system designs related to road works (e.g., street lighting, ITS, traffic signals, power supply for utilities). Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, and other authority standards and codes. Supervise electrical installation works and conduct site inspections and testing. Coordinate with civil and utility teams to resolve interface issues and avoid clashes. Ensure proper documentation of drawings, inspection requests (IRs), and material submittals. Validate as-built drawings and perform final testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Liaise with utility authorities for service connections and energization approvals. Support cost estimation, material take-off, and value engineering processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and electrical standards used in infrastructure works.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field. Minimum of

8 years of experience

in electrical engineering, with at least

4 years

in a similar role on

internal road projects in the UAE

. Must have been involved in at least

2 such projects within Abu Dhabi

in the

last 4 years

. Knowledge of Abu Dhabi's regulatory frameworks and project documentation standards. Excellent command of English (both verbal and written).
