Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Electrical Engineer

to be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems across our projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and site execution practices, and a proven track record in the UAE or GCC.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and international codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.) Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (ETAP, Dialux, etc.) Previous experience in MEP, construction, or infrastructure projects is a plus

Key Responsibilities:



Design and review electrical systems including LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and ELV systems Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical submittals Ensure compliance with DEWA/ADDC/TRANSCO standards and local authority regulations Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, and contractors Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site Participate in project planning, procurement reviews, and quality assurance Support project documentation and ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables

Certifications:



ADDC/TRANSCO approval, UAE Society of Engineers membership, and NEBOSH or IOSH certification is a plus.
