We are looking for a skilled
Electrical Draftsman / Modeler
with
5-8 years of experience in the UAE
to join our MEP design team. The candidate should have a strong background in preparing electrical drawings and 3D models, with solid understanding of UAE authority standards and site coordination practices.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
electrical drawings and 3D models
using AutoCAD and Revit.
Develop layouts for lighting, power, ELV, and grounding systems as per project requirements.
Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration of designs.
Update drawings based on site conditions and engineer feedback.
Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and related documentation.
Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, etc.).
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5-8 years of
UAE experience
as an Electrical Draftsman / Modeler (preferably with consultancy firms).
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
and
Revit
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of
electrical design standards and site coordination
.
Familiarity with UAE authority approval procedures and documentation.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
