Job Description
\xc2\xb7 Develop electrical system designs and specifications for oil and gas facilities. \xc2\xb7 Design and layout electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. \xc2\xb7 Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, to create detailed electrical drawings. \xc2\xb7 Generate schematics, single-line diagrams, and layouts for electrical systems. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with instrumentation and control engineers to integrate electrical systems with process control systems. \xc2\xb7 Design control panels and related electrical components. \xc2\xb7 Specify electrical equipment and components, considering project requirements and industry standards. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with procurement to ensure the timely and accurate acquisition of electrical materials. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. \xc2\xb7 Participate in hazard and risk assessments to identify and mitigate electrical safety risks.
