Job Purpose:

• Be part of Electrical Panel building team and contribute functionally to electrical design and estimation efforts.
• Produce and check common electrical design deliverables such as Single Line diagram, General arrangement, Cable Schedule, selection of Equipment etc.
• Perform estimation and support procurement team in bulk material take-off and requisition / material selection.
• Support sales team in technical meetings with end users and customers.

Overall responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for electrical design and estimation for electrical panel and closely collaborate with tendering, execution and manufacturing teams.
• Review tender documents and identify the electrical scope of work and provide estimation basis for design, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Float the enquiry to the supplier and get the offers.
• Establish electrical estimation basis and benchmarks for discipline within the organization and update as per the changes in market norms.
• Be part of Electrical Pannel building team and contribute functionally to electrical design and estimation efforts.

• Produce and check common electrical design deliverables such as Single Line diagram, General arrangement, Cable Schedule, selection of Equipment etc.

• Perform estimation and support procurement team in bulk material take-off and requisition / material selection.
• Support sales team in technical meetings with end users and customers.
• Preparation of Technical and commercial proposal as per Client requirement.
• Preparation of Cost sheet and Offers.
• Preparation of cost comparison between supplier and subcontractors.
• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
• Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records
• Having good knowledge standard and specifications.

Day to day responsibilities:

DESIGN

• Review tender, FEED, and other technical documents and datasheets and produce electrical design deliverables such as Single Line diagram, General arrangement, Cable Schedule, selection of Equipment etc.
• Update and modify datasheets and as-built drawings and submit for approvals to end-users / customers.

ESTIMATION & PROCUREMENT SUPPORT

• Take responsibility for electrical estimation for panels and other related material required for manufacturing.
• Ensure the supply chain for bulk items by reviewing the vendors / suppliers and their technical bid evaluations and datasheets etc.
• Participate in technical presentations with clients / end users and customers.
• Preparation of Technical and commercial proposal as per Client requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation) with experience (06-08 Years) and minimum 03 years in the power, manufacturing and Oil & Gas industry. Affinity and familiar with Engineering, Procurement and Contracting aspects both onshore and offshore. Power and utility industry.

Additional Information

Experience Requirements:

• Experience level: 06-08 years
• 03 years\xe2\x80\x99 or more experience in an EPC contracting companies, OEM\xe2\x80\x99s in oil & gas, power and utilities sector.
• Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 in electrical design and estimation
• HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

Skills & Professional Requirements:

• Knowledge of electrical design environment, codes and standards.
• Excellent skills in cost estimation, analysis and reporting.
• Familiar with latest LV/MV electrical panel and systems, end users and suppliers. .
