Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Design Engineer
to fulfill a role focusing on electrical design and electrical schematics.Core Responsibilities:
Working in coordination with other team members Maintaining electrical cost database Performing calculations of various profitability solutions Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors Reviewing the plan to estimate the length of electrical wire Identifying the cost and time constraints Design electrical schematic according to IEC specifications and standards. Create Electrical Schematic & Connection Diagrams using AutoCAD. Review technical specifications (BOM) from clients to develop proposals. Collaborate with contractors and consultants for technical clarifications and final drawing approvals. Prepare a comprehensive technical database for the drawings. Ensure compliance with local authorities' standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
UPDA Certified Engineer
8-10 years of experience in electrical design (contractor background) Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP or similar software and familiarity with electrical design principles Strong understanding of IEC standards and specificationsExperience with USACE / US base projects are preferred
