Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electrical Schematic Design:
Create detailed electrical schematics usingEPLAN Electric P8
, including wiring diagrams, terminal layouts, and circuit diagrams for PLC / MCC systems. IntegratePLC I/O modules, relays, sensors, actuators
, and other control devices. Preparation of Electrical load schedule & review of P&ID drawing. Knowledge on Cable Schedule, Tags, Site Layout drawing for electrical manholes, Cable Routing & sleeves is an added advantage.Panel Layout Design:
Design physical layout drawings for control panels, including component placement, DIN rail arrangements, and wire routing within enclosures. Remote I/O Panels, LCS/LCP, JB sizing, and design as per the project/site requirements.PLC Integration:
Define and documentPLC hardware configurations
, I/O mapping, and connections between field devices and the PLC.Bill of Materials (BOM):
Generate accurate BOMs automatically from EPLAN for procurement and manufacturing.Standards and Compliance:
Ensure all designs comply withindustry standards
(IEC, NEC, UL508A, etc.) and client-specific specifications (ADDC/SEWA/DEWA and so on).Revision Management and Documentation:
Maintain and manage version-controlled documentation for project tracking and updates.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with mechanical engineers, project managers, and software/control engineers to ensure design feasibility and integration.Project Customization:
* Modify existing EPLAN templates and macros for customized PLC panel designs based on client/project requirements.
