Job Summary:

Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for detailing Electrical Designs calculations, schematic diagram and specifications to meet customer requirements

Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):

Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of Electrical systems.

Develop final design documents, including specification, calculations, sequences of operation, BOQ as well as the electrical design drawings and final construction documents

Develop the design criteria, which would define the requirements the systems would be required to deliver.

Oversee and resolve the various design issues during all phases.

Read design specifications and technical drawings

Provide design input to CAD design team.

Prepare data sheet for major equipment's.

Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.

Assist in the Production of detailed schematics.

Deal with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.

Create technical proposals, technical materials, procurement specifications and electrical analysis.

Review vendor/shop drawings, quotes and proposals.

Deal with customers and contracts to resolve customer related issues.

Prepare design documentation, write reports and give presentations.

Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits.

Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Business development & tenders management activities when requested.

Education & Experience:

B.E / M.E Electrical Engineer

8 to 10 years of experience

. Proficient in AutoCad and other Applications such as Revit (BIM), HAP Software , and other equivalent applications.

. Very good knowledge of software selection for AHU , FCU , and Fans.

. Deal with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.

Required Skills:

Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Ability to work with both customer Engineering and Design Groups

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing in English.

Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.

Must have good interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

Have thorough good knowledge of codes related to design

Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedure within the industry.
