Mekar is seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join our design team in Ajman. We currently have an opening for a Electrical Design Engineer.

Responsibilities

Prepare wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, mechanical layouts, terminal layouts, and GA drawings for standard and customized products. Guide and support suppliers in preparing and verifying drawings during order processing. Maintain and update standard drawings, job history database, and process modification requests. Prepare catalogues, IOMs, technical data sheets, and specification sheets. Assist engineers and product engineers in work order processing, material selection, and preparation of BOMs, item codes, and nomenclature accurately and within specified timeframes. Coordinate with suppliers for panel design and related tasks, including electrical component selection and testing. Support material sourcing, vendor development, and ensuring quality of electrical components. Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems on-site.

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Experience in design of HVAC equipment, including layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and design drawings. Strong experience in preparing 2D and 3D detailed drawings. Proficient in preparing item specification sheets and technical documentation. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadlines. Good collaboration and organizational skills to maintain databases and standard documentation.
