Job Description

Design and Development

: Create detailed electrical schematics and design specifications for various applications, including power distribution systems and consumer electronics.

Testing and Implementation

: Conduct tests on electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.

Collaboration

: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing personnel, to integrate electrical designs into larger projects.

Troubleshooting

: Identify and resolve issues in electrical designs and systems, providing innovative solutions to enhance performance and reliability.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate records of design processes, specifications, and testing results, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education

: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is typically required. A Master's degree may be preferred for advanced positions.

Experience

: Relevant experience in electrical design, including internships or co-op positions, is often required. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is essential.

Certifications

: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification may be beneficial or required for certain positions.

Skills

Technical Proficiency

: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB), and industry standards.
