for a short-term contract role to support our engineering projects in
Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi
. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, calculations, and compliance with local regulations in the UAE/GCC region.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for construction/building services projects.
Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and load calculations using AutoCAD, Revit, or ETAP.
Ensure compliance with UAE/GCC electrical codes (ADDC, DEWA, etc.) and international standards (IEC, NEC, BS).
Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems and providing technical solutions.
Prepare BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum
2 years of UAE/GCC experience
in electrical design for buildings/infrastructure.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, ETAP
, or similar tools.
Knowledge of
HV/LV systems, lighting, power distribution, and earthing
.
Familiarity with local authority regulations (ADDC, DEWA, ADM, etc.).

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
