Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
3+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks Electrical (or equivalent ECAD)
Basic understanding of crane design principles and mechanical components
Familiarity with electrical design for lifting equipment, PLCs, and industrial control systems
Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (EN 60204-1, IEC 61508, EMC directives, CE)
Description In this role, you will design and develop compliant electrical systems for crane applications using SolidWorks Electrical, supporting cross-functional teams from component selection to testing and documentation. Role & Responsibilities:
Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts in SolidWorks Electrical
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to integrate electrical and mechanical designs
Select and specify electrical components (PLC, drives, sensors, motors, contactors, cables) for crane applications
