In this role, you will design and develop compliant electrical systems for crane applications using SolidWorks Electrical, supporting cross-functional teams from component selection to testing and documentation.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a matrix, multidisciplinary environment
- Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks Electrical (or equivalent ECAD)
- Basic understanding of crane design principles and mechanical components
- Familiarity with electrical design for lifting equipment, PLCs, and industrial control systems
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (EN 60204-1, IEC 61508, EMC directives, CE)
In this role, you will design and develop compliant electrical systems for crane applications using SolidWorks Electrical, supporting cross-functional teams from component selection to testing and documentation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts in SolidWorks Electrical
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to integrate electrical and mechanical designs
- Select and specify electrical components (PLC, drives, sensors, motors, contactors, cables) for crane applications
- Ensure designs meet relevant safety, EMC, and performance standards (EN, IEC, UL, etc.)
- Support procurement by preparing bill of materials (BOM) and technical datasheets
- Generate clear electrical documentation (assembly drawings, cable schedules, installation instructions)
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during prototyping and commissioning
- Liaise with vendors and third-party certifiers for component approvals and testing
