Job Description
: Electrical Communication Engineer - Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Position: Electrical Communication Engineer - IIoT Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop electrical communication systems for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IIoT devices and sensors into existing industrial infrastructure. 3. Implement communication protocols and standards suitable for IIoT connectivity, such as MQTT, OPC UA, or CoAP. 4. Plan and execute the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IIoT communication networks. 5. Conduct feasibility studies and assess the scalability, security, and reliability of IIoT solutions. 6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity guidelines specific to IIoT environments. 7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IIoT communication systems and sensor integration. 8. Monitor and analyze IIoT data streams, perform data analytics, and extract actionable insights for process optimization. 9. Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to develop IIoT applications and platforms. 10. Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in IIoT technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Part-time hours: 6 per week Salary: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical communication principles and protocols in the context of IIoT.
- Experience with IIoT connectivity protocols and standards (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA, CoAP).
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems, PLCs, and SCADA.
- Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting in IIoT environments.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for IIoT.
- Data analysis skills and knowledge of data visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. including the ability to effectively participate in client meetings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
