Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical) Nationality Any GCC National, Indian, Any Nationality Male Vacancy 1 Vacancy We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation/Automation Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automated machinery used in food and beverage processing and packaging, as well as printing lines. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment, particularly in the UAE, with a strong background in PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems across production lines. Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and industrial networking devices. Maintain, calibrate, and test instrumentation equipment including flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, etc. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades. Read and interpret electrical and automation schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical manuals. Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards. Ensure minimal downtime by responding quickly and effectively to equipment faults and breakdowns. Document maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and updates to automation software. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and energy-saving projects. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company standards, and HACCP/GMP practices. Desired Candidate Profile We are specifically looking for a technician with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the FMCG, Food Packaging, or related industry, with a strong background in electrical and automation systems. The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining automatic packaging machinery (form-fill-seal, wrapping, labeling, etc.) Good command over Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, and Servo Motors (preferably Allen Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi, Siemens) Solid knowledge in three-phase power systems, panel wiring, and electrical distribution Skilled in sensors and instrumentation : Proximity, Capacitive, Photoelectric, Ultrasonic, and Encoders Ability to read, interpret, and work with electrical schematics and control wiring diagrams Experience with PLC-based control systems and interface devices (HMIs, relays, timers, etc.) Should be proactive, safety-conscious, and energetic, with a team-oriented attitude Basic understanding of pneumatic valves and actuators .
