Inspect systems and equipment prior to commissioning to ensure safe, proper installation
Assist vendors and Commissioning Engineers in commissioning activities and modifications
Troubleshoot and modify systems and equipment as needed
Handle live equipment under strict safety protocols and supervision
Disconnect, modify, or remove existing electrical/mechanical components and systems
Perform isolations, energizations, loop checks (cold & hot), and integrity checks
Operate equipment/instruments during commissioning under guidance
Technical Competence
Set up temporary systems for commissioning
Use all test equipment and measuring instruments as instructed
Maintain equipment logs and perform watchkeeping duties
Guide and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
Compliance & Safety
Follow departmental SOPs, safety protocols, and information security standards
Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
Technical diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
Proven experience in commissioning environments (shipyard, oil & gas, industrial preferred)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and safety regulations
Hands-on experience with tools, testing, and troubleshooting
Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
