Overview:
A loving and caring mom living in Dubai is seeking a nanny to help care for her 7-year-old daughter. This will be a full-time, live-in position where the candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom. If the candidate already has their own accommodation and prefers to live out, this is also an option. The schedule will be 6-days, with working days covering the weekend, 7am-8pm. The candidate may choose their day off during the week.
The child attends school full time from 8am-3.30pm and the nanny will have free time during these timings, (term time only). During the school holidays the nanny would be required to work their full hours.
This is a staffed household, with a housekeeper, cook, and driver, so it's important the candidate is a team player.
This is a multi-lingual household with the family speaking English, French, Spanish, and Italian.
The child is very energetic, and participates in multiple sports including, golf, tennis, and boxing. The mother would like for the candidate to encourage the child to get involved with group sports too.
The ideal candidate will be responsible, mature, experienced, fun, patient, and have a genuine love for children. They should also enjoy being involved and joining in with the child's activities and genuinely invested in building a trusting, long-term relationship with them. It's important the candidate work as a team with the mother.
The start date is flexible, but by the end of February at the latest. Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the child is prepared for the school day, breakfast, dressed, personal hygiene, etc.
• Drop off and collect from school - the family driver will drive to and from the school
• Planning and executing playdates, classes, and activities, e.g., park, tennis lessons, golf lessons, etc.
• Oversee dinner, bath time, and bedtime
• This is a sole charge position, but there may be times you will be working alongside the mother
• Assist with homework when needed and working with the tutor
• Encourage independence
• Travel with the family when required

Qualifications:

• Ability to speak Italian, French, or Spanish would be a bonus

Requirements:

• To be able to encourage manners and set boundaries in a firm, but kind and fair manner
• Must be reliable and flexible
• Be emotionally intelligent, and have a warm and caring nature
• Fluent English speaking
• International travel with the family would be preferred
• The child is very sporty and it would be a bonus for the candidate to be like-minded
• Occasional babysitting
• The candidate must be a team-player
• The family is looking for someone energetic and proactive with a positive attitude
• Must hold a British or European Union passport

Salary and Benefits:

• 17,000 AED monthly
