:
EEG technician work closely with, and under the supervision of the Neurologists and perform EEG & EMG tests.
Responsibilities: * Needs to produce high quality EEG & NCS tracings and be able to detect and eliminate artifacts.
- Cleans the electrodes and machine and stores them properly.
- Maintains apparatus, making minor adjustments when faults occur.
- Needs to know special techniques, i.e., special leads, portable machines, protocol for testing children and special medical conditions.
- Maintains stock of paper, electrodes, etc.
- Takes care of proper storage of all apparatus.
- Keeps log book record of EEG & EMG's.
- Performs miscellaneous related duties as requested.
- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
5.1 A certificate/diploma holder in EEG & EMG.
5.2 At least two (2) years of experience.
5.3 Current licensure in country of origin as well as DOH license to practice in Abu
Dhabi, UAE.
5.4 Fluent in spoken & written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential.
