We are seeking a skilled and experienced(Minimum 2 years)
Electrical Switchgear Technician
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical switchgear systems
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair LV, MV, and HV switchgear and associated equipment.
Perform insulation resistance, contact resistance, and primary/secondary injection tests.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in switchgear systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on electrical panels and circuit breakers.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians for efficient project execution.
Maintain records of inspections, test results, and service reports.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, codes, and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
Use specialized tools and testing equipment such as multimeters, meggers, and circuit analyzers.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in switchgear installation and maintenance.
