Job Description

Nurture and build relationships with authors for fruitful collaboration on publications via emails and phone calls Handle incoming inquiries and submissions, through emails and phone calls Assist authors by providing the required information Maintains author records by updating information on the database Reviewing manuscripts in Arabic and English and providing feedback and reviews to the author Based on the reviews, deciding whether the book is to be published or not, referring to the publishing guidelines Offering publishing contracts to the author and negotiating with them to encourage them to sign Following up with authors on a regular basis to send their manuscript or asking feedback regarding contracts Upon being trained on the terms of publishing contract, should be able to clarify any queries the author might have Day-to-day contact with other members of the team including marketing, accounts and production to handover all relevant and useful details Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize challenging workloads with moderate supervision Job Type: Full-time Salary: From AED3,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
