Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking for ED III / Instrumentation Designer to work on the engineering and project management services in Al Khobar office, on our Offshore Maintain Potential Program (OMPP). OMPP is a multi - year, multi program venture covering both greenfield and brownfield offshore projects in Saudi Arabia. The scope of this program includes Engineering & Design, Procurement and Construction Management support. Develops instrumentation and control drawings, within company and industry standards and codes, to support completion of engineering deliverables Creates and modify instrumentation drawings involving ISS, ILD, interconnection diagrams, wiring diagrams, list of nameplates, IIS, block diagram, panel layout, instrument and cable schedules, BOM, etc Perform offshore site visit to collect instrumentation and control data when required Assists in the preparation of bid evaluations Prepares and provide estimates of time, quantities, materials and labor required for activities related instrumentation and control drawing deliverables Skills / Qualifications

An Associate Degree, Higher Diploma or Diploma in a Instrumentation is required with minimum 6 years experience A full understanding of the materials and methods normally used in their discipline Knowledge of Saudi Aramco drawing preparation standards as SAES-A-202, SAEP-334 is a plus. Capable of interpreting key documents and drawings from instrumentation and control as well as other disciplines as process, piping, structural, electrical, mechanical, etc. Competent user of SPI, MicroStation or any other related instrumentation CAD/D software.
