- Identify gaps in the Ecommerce product proposition by evaluating against market needs and competition offering. Address the gaps by proposing product configurations that fill the gap.
- Develop EC budgets/OTB and product assortment plans. Closely watch market and competition to identify online customer behaviour and preferences to strengthen HB EC proposition.
- Develop multiple categories of EC products based on expected trading duration, category seasonality and monitor their performance against plan.
- Analyse sales trends and product life cycles, using data to identify and prioritize opportunities.
- Develop a distinctly recognizable brand of \xe2\x80\x9cEC exclusive\xe2\x80\x9d products that has a strong consumer following. Work closely with Buying teams to develop bestsellers that forms the core of the EC portfolio performance.
- Prepare and maintain department/category merchandise MIS analytics based on actual sales, forecasts, order parameters, inventory checks, upcoming events, and replenishment needs.

Inventory Forecasting & Planning
- Maintain optimum category inventory levels at Concept/Territory considering sale requirements and working capital constraints.
- Ensure no instances of category stockouts occur due to discrepancies in merchandise planning. Collaborate with the Buying and relevant business leads to resolve out-of-stock or stock shortage situations.
- Create rolling 12-month forecast plans to ensure healthy stock levels for all price segments of the EC portfolio throughout the year.
- Calculate stock requirements based on forecasts and coordinate with buyers for purchases accordingly.
- Plan and monitor replenishment across territories by establishing replenishment parameters.
- Monitor aging stock levels and develop liquidation strategies in collaboration with the Buying and Planning team. Own Markdown targets and ensure sell through targets are met.

- Take end-to-end responsibility for Product performance including visibility, availability, profitability, and revenue.
- Track and drive category P&L to monitor top-line and profitability goals of EC product portfolio as per E-Commerce business needs.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure products go live on time and are merchandized well across all digital channels including website, app, social and digital marketing.
- Forecast targets and drive performance in sales, margin, inventory optimization, and promotional events.
- Plan and Drive Ecommerce events related activities to meet category and Ecommerce goals.
- Own pricing and promotional offer planning and execution. Devise a comprehensive pricing/discount strategy and roadmap to maximize sell-through.
