The Role

Ourshopee.com is hiring a Regional E-commerce Operations & Merchandising Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end operations across Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. This is a high-impact role overseeing inventory, warehousing, fulfillment, last-mile delivery, and country-specific buying strategies. You'll ensure smooth order execution, drive demand forecasting accuracy ( 90%), reduce logistics costs (8% YoY), and maintain 98% on-time delivery rates. Key responsibilities include: o Managing daily e-commerce operations: inventory, WMS/OMS systems, delivery SLAs, and returns o Leading buying and merchandising: sales analysis, forecasting, procurement, and vendor negotiations o Driving cross-functional execution with marketing, tech, finance, and support teams o Managing in-country teams: hiring, training, KPI tracking, and quarterly performance reviews o Ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and risk protocols across GCC markets KPI Targets: Inventory Accuracy 95% | Stockouts 2% | Forecasting Accuracy 90% | Vendor Compliance 95% | Delivery SLA 98% Preferred Tools & Skills: WMS/OMS | CRM | Excel, Power BI/Tableau | Barcode & inventory tech | GCC e-commerce logistics | Cross-border team management | Cost optimization Work Location: Covers Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait Industry: E-commerce | Retail | Logistics | Supply Chain Attractive compensation package including competitive salary, medical insurance, and company-sponsored visa.



Requirements

6-10 years of proven experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, fulfillment, and merchandising o Minimum 3 years in a managerial or regional role, ideally overseeing multiple countries or high-volume markets o GCC experience is mandatory - candidates must have handled e-commerce operations in Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE or Saudi o Strong local experience with leading e-commerce platforms, retail brands, or marketplaces is also welcome Key Skills: o Deep understanding of e-commerce supply chain, WMS/OMS, last-mile delivery, and returns handling o Strong in demand forecasting, procurement planning, and inventory optimization o Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, barcoding systems, and tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau o Proficiency in negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor SLAs, and achieving cost efficiencies o Ability to manage cross-functional teams (marketing, tech, customer support) and drive alignment o Familiar with GCC logistics challenges, customs processes, and local compliance regulations o Solid leadership and people management skills - hiring, training, performance tracking, and KPI delivery Education: o Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred) o Professional certifications in Logistics, Procurement, or E-commerce are an added advantage
