Ecommerce Fulfillment Manager - GMG - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The Ecommerce Fulfillment Manager role at GMG in Dubai is responsible for overseeing end-to-end ecommerce order fulfillment operations, ensuring speed, accuracy, and quality across warehouse processes. This role plays a critical part in meeting service level agreements, optimizing order flow, and leading large operational teams to deliver a reliable and efficient customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete ecommerce fulfillment cycle including order allocation, picking, quality checks, packing, and handover to last-mile delivery partners
• Ensure all ecommerce orders are processed and dispatched within defined SLAs and operational cut-off times
• Monitor daily order volumes, backlog levels, and dispatch performance using WMS and operational dashboards
• Ensure strict compliance with picking accuracy, quality check standards, and packing guidelines
• Own order fulfillment rate and order rejection rate, performing root cause analysis and reporting exceptions
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce rejections, delays, and operational errors
• Coordinate closely with last-mile delivery partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment handovers
• Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements
• Lead and manage a warehouse team including Warehouse Associates and Team Leaders
• Plan shifts and manpower allocation based on order volumes, priorities, and peak periods
• Conduct daily briefings, performance reviews, and productivity tracking
• Train team members on ecommerce processes, quality standards, and system usage
• Identify skill gaps and drive continuous training and development initiatives

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations
• Mandatory hands-on experience in ecommerce fulfillment environments
• Proven experience managing large operational teams
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with inventory control systems and Warehouse Management Systems
