ABOUT THE ROLE

To provide initial technical set-up and on-going user support for all Electronic Shipping Solutions, including hardware and software. Provide first level support and incident management for all Electronic Shipping Solutions deployed. Rollout Global / Regional Customer API Solutions and Programs. Manage hardware and software inventory & carry out vendor management activities. Carry out new customer solution on boarding and existing customer maintenance activities on a regular basis. Comply with DPDHL legal obligations regarding software licensing and comply with data security standards. Supervise the Customer Facing support desk.

YOUR TASKS

  • To maintain all Electronic Shipping Solutions and deployed hardware are at agreed operational performance levels.
  • To resolve problems either through personal action or by organising resolution through the ITSC Helpdesk or a third party vendor.
  • Ensure all new Electronic Shipping Solution and/or new releases which are tested and signed-off are rolled out in a timely manner.
  • To ensure the functionality and accessibility of all shared peripherals such as printers, plotters, scanners, etc.
  • Deploy and commission new workstations including installation of relevant OS and software to handle increasing business needs and an expanding user base within a customer premise.
  • Ensure all requests and issues are logged in the Service Desk and Global change control policies are followed.
  • Maintaining asset management, security policies and agreed standard operating environment
  • Ensure ESS country KPI(s) are achieved and provide reporting analysis
YOUR PROFILE
  • Experience in implementing and supporting Customer integration solutions, electronic shipping solutions and related projects.
  • Customer and end-user focused.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with knowledge on API and EDI solutions
  • Creative problem solving skills and an ability to work conceptually.
  • Able to achieve results through influencing others.
  • Good communications and presentation skills.
  • Team management skills
  • 5 years of experience in customer solution delivery and API/EDI technologies and related field.
  • A diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Project or Program Analyst roles (Customer Facing / IT or in business)
