? Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven eCommerce Business Development Executive to be a key driver of our digital growth. Your primary mission will be to boost the adoption of our online platforms, generate new business opportunities, and support the sales team in building strong, lasting customer relationships. You will be the bridge between our digital capabilities and our clients' success.
? Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Growth & Platform Adoption:

  • Actively promote and drive the adoption of the company's eCommerce platform among existing and new customers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase online traffic, user registration, and repeat online purchasing.
  • Identify and overcome barriers to online adoption through targeted communication and training.
2. Business Development & Sales Support:
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new sales leads and opportunities in the food service and hospitality sector.
  • Work closely with the sales team to onboard new customers and transition existing accounts to primarily use our digital channels.
  • Support the sales team in managing key accounts by providing eCommerce data, insights, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals and demonstrations of the eCommerce platform's benefits.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing digital solutions.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers regarding their online account management, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to the management and technical teams to help improve the platform's functionality and user experience.
4. Market & Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze competitor eCommerce activities, pricing, and digital strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.
5. Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track, analyze, and report on key eCommerce metrics (e.g., online sales, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, platform engagement).
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and report on the progress of digital growth initiatives to the eCommerce Business Development Manager.
? Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business development, eCommerce, or sales role, preferably within the B2B, FMCG, food service, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving digital adoption.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and eCommerce platforms is highly desirable.
? Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent Communicator: Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage), with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn and adept at explaining digital platforms and processes to customers of all technical levels.
  • Proactive & Driven: A self-starter with a hunter mentality, able to identify opportunities and take initiative.
  • Customer-Centric: Passionate about building relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret sales data and eCommerce metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit, able to work effectively with sales, marketing, and technical teams.
