• This role under the supervision of Senior Compliance Quality Assurance Manager is responsible with regards to electronic channels and system development and enhancement to ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and laws. The role makes sure that regulatory and compliance deliverables are strategically managed and meet necessary deadlines, monitors implementation of annual Compliance program and plans.
• This role ensures all regulatory frameworks translated into compliance policies are implemented. Has knowledge of government laws and regulations affecting the company’s business areas, and ability to interpret laws and regulations in light of operations Ensures Business/Functions have all the tools to achieve full compliance with the regulations; conducts UAT and close liaison with IT implement optimum usage of SAS GRC Compliance System. This role is a professional with significant compliance capabilities, responsible to support Senior Compliance Quality Assurance Manager to manage the assigned area.
• Assists to develop an annual Compliance Quality Assurance Program in consultation with the Manager for Quality Assurance in the production and documentation of annual Compliance program and plan in order to review and validate ‘qualitative’ and ‘quantitative’ all compliance procedures, processes and activities
• Monitoring compliance policies, procedures, standards, rules and regulations with MADA implementation programs and ATM Service Level Agreement Open/2 systems etc. between banks and SAMA
• Builds a review and monitoring plan of all electronic systems and channels, and performs review and due diligence of each and every electronic system’s development, enhancement and upgrading process
• Works closely with business project owners and ISG team to ensure timely completion of all regulatory projects, systems and enhancements
• Participates in the process of reviewing of new products and service requests that involves E channels of the Bank
• Provides guidance and assistance to business lines and Information Technology for applying the standards compliance rules and regulations and security requirements
• Ensures that all BSF systems are working appropriately with standard compliance, in case of any system failures applying the standards compliance rules, reports to the regulator as applicable
• Organizes and plans the work of direct reports and ensures that the work carried out and accomplished the targets
• Undertakes complex and non-routine operational and administrative activities conducting additional research where necessary, to support ongoing Compliance business activities
• Supports the Manager in any ad-hoc projects to promote the compliance culture within the BSF, during inspection visits (internal and external) to the bank or to fulfil any compliance reporting requirement from the senior management
• Ensures all SLAs with the regulatory authorities are complied with by eliminating system down times and high availability of customer electronic channels for banking to prevent regulatory censure
