Job Description

Job Summary:
The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery, and maintaining high standards of guest/customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, handling emergencies, resolving complaints, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Ensure all departments (front desk, housekeeping, F&B, security, etc.) function efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with company standards.
2. Guest/Customer Service:
  • Act as the main point of contact for guest/customer inquiries, complaints, and requests.
  • Resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Handle VIP guests and special requests with attention to detail.
3. Staff Supervision & Coordination:
  • Supervise and support team members during shifts.
  • Assign duties, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to policies.
  • Assist in training new employees and conducting performance reviews.
4. Emergency & Crisis Management:
  • Respond to emergencies (medical, security, technical) and follow protocols.
  • Coordinate with security, medical teams, and authorities if necessary.
  • Document incidents and report to senior management.
5. Administrative Duties:
  • Prepare shift reports, log incidents, and communicate with management.
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment functionality.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost-control measures.
