, the Duty Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring seamless daily hotel operations and delivering the refined, personalized service that defines the LXR brand. The role acts as the primary point of contact for guests and team members, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all
Front Office operations
during the shift, ensuring smooth guest arrivals, departures, and overall service excellence.
Act as the
hotel's representative
in the absence of senior management, making operational decisions and ensuring brand standards are consistently upheld.
Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring prompt and effective service recovery.
Coordinate daily operations with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage departments to maintain seamless guest experiences.
Conduct regular inspections of public areas, guest floors, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to Hilton's luxury brand standards.
Review arrival lists, VIP and repeat guest profiles, ensuring personalized service and memorable experiences.
Support the Front Office team with coaching, motivation, and training to promote engagement and service excellence.
Monitor hotel occupancy, forecast, and operational requirements to optimize staffing and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures, taking charge during critical situations when required.
Prepare end-of-shift reports and communicate key operational updates to management and the next shift team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or Diploma in
Hospitality Management
or related field.
Minimum
2-4 years of Front Office experience
, including at least
1 year in a supervisory or Duty Manager role
within a
luxury or 5-star hotel environment
.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Proficiency in
Opera PMS
and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to remain composed and decisive under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
