This Duty Engineer role supports daily maintenance, preventive upkeep, and technical troubleshooting across guest rooms and public areas in a luxury IHG-affiliated hotel. Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance of structural metal fixtures according to scheduled and preventive maintenance plans
Respond to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas in a timely manner
Support painting maintenance when required
Assist engineering or landscape teams with general handiwork around the property
Perform preventive maintenance across guest rooms and public areas
Resolve work requests or inspection reports submitted by operational departments
Respond to emergency situations such as power failures and fire alarms
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of protective equipment
Ensure adherence to service standards, maintenance guidelines, and performance benchmarks
Support smooth daily operations while upholding guest satisfaction standards
Ideal Profile
Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
Technical ability to analyze and support minor maintenance projects
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of facility operations
Fluent English communication
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
