About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Durability Specialist

to support the assessment, design, and long-term performance evaluation of major sewerage and tunneling infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in durability assessments of underground structures, materials performance, and long-life asset design.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct durability assessments and studies for

sewerage tunnels, pipelines, SEM excavation works, deep tunnel shafts, and manholes

. Evaluate material performance, corrosion risks, and long-term structural behavior for underground infrastructure. Develop durability design strategies, protection systems, and maintenance recommendations. Review technical designs, specifications, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with durability standards. Provide expert guidance to multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project stakeholders. Prepare detailed technical reports and deliver findings clearly and effectively.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience

in durability assessments and studies for sewerage tunnels, pipelines, SEM structures, deep shafts, and manholes.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

or equivalent qualification.

Professional engineering accreditation

(CEng, MICE, or equivalent).

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of concrete technology, corrosion mechanisms, and protection systems. Familiarity with durability design standards, testing methods, and predictive modelling. Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Proven experience working on large-scale underground or sewerage infrastructure projects.
