: Master Plex Contracting Company is seeking a skilled Ductman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 yr experience in residential and commercial plumbing, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Installation and Fabrication:
Fabricating ductwork:
This includes cutting, shaping, and assembling duct sections according to blueprints.
Repair and Maintenance:
Inspecting and repairing duct systems:
Identifying and fixing damage, leaks, or other issues.
Communicating with clients:
Discussing issues and potential solutions.
Maintaining tools and inventory:
Ensuring tools are in good working condition and inventory is managed effectively.
HVAC troubleshooting:
Identifying and diagnosing problems with HVAC systems.
Additional Duties:
Following safety procedures:
Adhering to company safety standards and best practices.
Adhering to company procedures:
Following established workflows and guidelines.
Communication:
Coordinating with clients, team members, and other trades.
Cleaning and replacing air ducts:
Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of duct systems.
Installing ductwork:
They connect duct sections, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
Installing HVAC equipment:
This may include fans, grilles, and dampers.
Interpreting blueprints:
Understanding and following technical drawings for installation.
Ensuring proper insulation and sealing:
Protecting ductwork from heat loss or leaks.
