Job Description

Position: AC DUCTMAN(Fitout Projects)

Job Responsibilities:

Fabrication & Installation:

Measure, cut, and assemble galvanized iron (GI) and pre-insulated (PI) ducts according to approved shop drawings.

Install ducts, flexible connections, dampers, diffusers, and grills accurately at site.

Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and insulation of ducts to prevent air leakage.

Install supports, hangers, and brackets to secure ductwork.

Coordination & Site Execution:

Coordinate with HVAC technicians, supervisors, and other MEP teams for smooth installation.

Follow approved drawings and specifications to execute ducting works efficiently.

Report any discrepancies or material shortages to the site supervisor.

Quality & Safety:

Ensure duct installation meets quality standards and safety requirements.

Follow site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE during work.

Maintain cleanliness and order at the worksite.

Maintenance & Modifications:

Assist in repairing, replacing, or modifying existing duct systems as required.

Perform periodic inspection and cleaning of duct systems when needed.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma / ITI in HVAC, Duct Fabrication, or related trade.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a ductman in the UAE, preferably in interior fitout projects.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in GI and PI duct fabrication and installation.

Ability to read and interpret ducting drawings.

Knowledge of duct insulation, sealing materials, and installation tools.

Language: Basic English communication (Arabic is an advantage).
