Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install
galvanized iron (GI), stainless steel, or aluminum ducts
.
Measure and mark sheet metal according to design blueprints.
Cut, bend, and shape ducts using hand and power tools.
Install and connect ducts, dampers, diffusers, and air terminals.
Seal and insulate ductwork to ensure efficiency and prevent air leaks.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing duct systems.
Coordinate with HVAC technicians, site engineers, and supervisors.
Follow all
safety regulations
and company policies.
Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or technical certificate in HVAC or a related field.
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
in duct installation or fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret
HVAC drawings and blueprints
.
Good knowledge of duct materials, fittings, and insulation.
