**DUBAI - PRIVATE CLIENT, TAX & TRUSTS ASSOCIATE - 1-3 YEARS PQE**

Our client is a major global law firm with many well-regarded offices across the continents. Its Dubai operation has been established in the region for over 30 years to date.

An unusual opportunity has arisen for a junior associate to join its International Private Wealth Practice in Dubai! The practice is ranked band 1 in Chambers High Net Worth Guide.

Reporting to a high-profile \'big name\' UK qualified partner on the ground in Dubai, you will act for HNWIs, family offices, trustees and organisations servicing the private wealth sector both in the Middle East and internationally on all types of private client advisory and implementation work. In particular, the role will involve cross border succession and tax planning.

What you will be doing:

• Advising on international personal and trust tax issues for high net-worth individuals, families and trustees.
• Domicile and residence assessments and planning.
• Offshore trust planning. Income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax assessments and planning.
• Tax and regulatory compliance for individuals and trusts.
• Estate and asset protection planning including Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate planning.
• Family Governance.
• Building and maintaining effective client relationships.
• Participating in marketing initiatives and firm-wide/departmental training sessions.

Suitable applicants will be as follows:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales/another common law jurisdiction;
• From 1- 3 years PQE in private client and tax matters from a recognised private wealth practice;
• Regional UAE experience a plus but UK experience also beneficial;
• Commercial and problem-solving mindset.
