The Dubai office has close to 40 bankers, being the largest and most active independent financial advisory practice in the Middle East covering M&A, equity, debt and restructuring.

The Debt Advisory and Restructuring team comprises 10 specialists and advises on the full spectrum of corporate, leveraged, infrastructure and real estate situations \xe2\x80\x93 new issuances, capital structure optimisation, and restructuring. The team is the advisor of choice for GCC GREs for developing and implementing capital structure strategies to meet overarching objectives.

Overview of Role

An informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of financing and restructuring solutions.

We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, sovereign wealth funds , private equity, families and entrepreneurs, and governments. We design and execute financing and restructuring solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on the challenges they face.

Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct perspective allows us to achieve outstanding results for our clients and act as their most trusted advisers over the long term.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, including client development and initial opportunity evaluation, reviewing term sheets, legal implementation, debt documents, defining supporting analysis, and transaction strategy and execution
• Lead teams in the preparation of financial and economic analyses and financial models required for evaluating and completing such transactions, as well as client presentations, information memoranda and offering documents
• Experienced banker who seeks to identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co Global Advisory and new ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

• Prior experience in an advisory or investment banking role
• Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis
• Ability to provide direction and leadership in order to build a strong team environment and to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business, across different geographies
• Ability to build long-term, professional relationships that add value to the client and lead to the expansion of the business
• Experience leading client presentations, managing projects and the execution of transactions
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects in an extremely fast paced environment to meet critical deadlines
• Knowledge of various debt instruments (bonds, loans, senior/junior/mezzanine, secured/unsecured, conventional/sukuk, project finance)
• Understand the drivers and valuation metrics of relevant sectors
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
