to support our surveying, mapping, and inspection projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating UAVs, capturing high-quality aerial data, and processing it using GIS and photogrammetry tools to produce accurate maps, models, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate drones for aerial surveying, mapping, inspection, and data collection
Plan and execute flight missions in compliance with UAE aviation regulations
Capture, process, and analyze geospatial data using GIS software
Generate orthomosaic maps, 3D models, DEMs, and contour maps
Ensure accuracy, quality control, and proper documentation of collected data
Maintain drones, sensors, and related equipment
Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and engineering teams
Prepare technical reports and presentations based on GIS outputs
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Drone Pilot
with hands-on GIS exposure
Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS or similar)
Experience with photogrammetry tools (Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Agisoft Metashape, etc.)
Knowledge of UAV flight planning, safety, and data processing workflows
Valid drone pilot certification/license (GCAA preferred)
Strong understanding of mapping, surveying, and geospatial concepts
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
UAE experience in drone operations
Background in surveying, geomatics, GIS, or civil engineering
Familiarity with LiDAR data (if applicable)
Valid UAE driving license
