Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Communicate effectively with customers and address any inquiries or concerns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information Requirements:
- Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans and trucks
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of cargo
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
