Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid manual driving license and have a proven track record of safe driving. The primary objective of this role is to transport staff, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained and clean.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Operation & Safety

Operate company light vehicles (manual transmission) safely and in accordance with all local traffic laws and regulations. Transport employees, clients, or goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Ensure the safety of all passengers and security of materials during transit. Adhere to speed limits and drive defensively to prevent accidents.

2. Vehicle Maintenance & Care

Conduct daily pre-trip inspections (checking oil, water, tire pressure, lights, and brakes). Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle at all times. Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or damage to the supervisor immediately. Ensure the vehicle is serviced regularly according to the maintenance schedule.

3. Logistics & Administrative Duties

Load and unload materials or equipment as required, ensuring weight is distributed evenly. Plan the most efficient routes to avoid traffic and ensure on-time arrivals. Maintain an accurate logbook of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Handle petty cash for fuel or parking and submit receipts for reimbursement. Assist with general office or site tasks when driving duties are not required.
