About the Role
We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver - Light Vehicle to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles to transport personnel, goods, or documents to various locations throughout the city and surrounding areas.
Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all local traffic laws and regulations
Transport personnel, goods, or documents to designated locations in a timely manner
Plan optimal routes using maps, GPS navigation, and knowledge of local road networks
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays
Assist with loading and unloading of items when necessary
Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients
Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle at all times
Adapt to changes in schedules or routes as needed
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients
What do we need from you
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of Abu Dhabi's road network and traffic regulations
Strong time management and organizational skills
Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in reading maps and using GPS navigation systems
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Physical fitness to handle potential loading/unloading tasks
Defensive driving certification (preferred)
Previous experience as a light vehicle driver (preferred)
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and caution
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
