Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments, including commercial driving, and will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of different vehicle types, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers.

Duties

Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers. Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and routes taken. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Utilize manual transmission when required and demonstrate proficiency in operating refrigerated trailers. Engage in route driving while ensuring efficient navigation through assigned delivery areas. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth loading processes using forklifts when necessary.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles is preferred. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized vehicles is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading freight safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving is essential.
