We are looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to join our Glass & Aluminium team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will transport materials, equipment, and personnel safely between project sites, suppliers, and the warehouse, while ensuring timely delivery and support for installation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport glass, aluminium profiles, tools, and other construction materials to and from job sites.
Load and unload materials with care, ensuring items are securely fastened and protected from damage.
Assist installation teams by delivering necessary materials on time to avoid project delays.
Follow all UAE traffic laws, safety regulations, and company protocols.
Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Maintain delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage reports.
Report any delays, vehicle issues, or delivery problems to the supervisor promptly.
Support warehouse staff with organizing and handling stock when required.
Requirements:
Valid UAE driving license (Light Vehicle)
Minimum 2-3 years of driving experience in the UAE, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
Knowledge of safe loading and handling of fragile items like glass panels.
Familiarity with Dubai and UAE roads, industrial areas, and construction sites.
Basic communication skills in English; Hindi or Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work early mornings, overtime, or weekends if needed.
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with a glass, aluminium, or construction company.
Familiarity with basic warehouse procedures and material handling.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
