We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver with a manual license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and drive company vehicles with manual transmission.
Safely transport goods to designated locations according to delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload products, ensuring all items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Assist with route planning and optimization to ensure timely deliveries.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with manual transmission endorsement.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
