Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and pickups, including mileage and other required paperwork. Verify recipient signatures and ensure all documentation is correct and credible.
Vehicle maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is safe and in good working order. Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Communication and customer service:
Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities, laboratories, and customers. Provide assistance to patients if necessary.
Compliance:
Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations, especially company privacy regulations, to protect patient and medical information.
Item verification:
Accurately count and take inventory of medical items to ensure all orders are correct before and after delivery.
