Job Summary:

Al Fan Al Shaabi Aluminium & Glass Contracting is seeking a dependable and hard-working

Driver cum Helper

to support daily operations. The role involves safe transportation of aluminium profiles, glass, tools, and materials to various project sites, as well as assisting in loading/unloading and basic on-site support.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

Operate company vehicle (pickup or 3-ton truck) for transporting materials between the workshop, sites, and suppliers. Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays. Perform routine checks and report maintenance needs for the assigned vehicle. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle movements. Handle pickup and drop-off of employees as assigned.

Helper Duties:

Assist in loading and unloading of aluminium profiles, glass panels, fittings, and machinery. Support the site team in shifting and handling materials. Provide basic assistance in site tasks under supervisor or foreman instructions. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper organization of transported items.

Requirements:

Valid UAE driving license (Manual - Light Vehicle). 1-2 years of UAE experience as a driver. Familiarity with UAE road routes and project locations. Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials (glass and aluminium). Basic understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures. Responsible, punctual, and professional attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in aluminium and glass contracting or construction industry. Basic spoken English or Arabic for understanding work instructions.
